OverView
Al-Najdawi, is a professor of Computer Science at Al-Balqa Applied University in Jordan, since 2008. Prof. Al-Najdawi is a highly accomplished individual with extensive experience in higher management and a strong background in the industry. He possesses a wide range of essential skills, including strategic planning, resource management, and project oversight, as well as effective communication and interpersonal abilities that enable him to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, and team members. With keen attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, Prof. Al-Najdawi has consistently demonstrated the ability to make informed decisions and overcome challenges in a timely and efficient manner. Throughout his career, Prof. Al-Najdawi has served in various leadership roles and high committees. He chaired the National Committee for the development and manufacturing of medical ventilators in cooperation with the Royal Medical Services in 2019 and the main procurement committee for supplies and advisory services. Additionally, he has been a member of the University Deans Council, the University Council, and the University Scientific Research Council at Al-Balqa Applied University. Throughout his career, Al-Najdawi has received numerous accolades for his outstanding contributions to the field of Computer Science. He was the recipient of the prestigious Al-Hassan Bin Talal Award for Scientific Excellence in May 2022 and won the 3rd prize in the Huawei ICT global competition in China in 2021. Additionally, he was awarded Prince Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Award for best research in higher education in April 2014, and the distinguished Researcher Award from Al-Balqa Applied University in August 2017. In addition to these awards, Prof. Al-Najdawi has won several Huawei ICT regional competitions and Excellent Tutor Awards in both China and Saudi Arabia.
